Important Information

  • PAYMENT – payments can be made at time of booking or on site, please contact us for any booking issues. 

  • Cancellations – We understand that plans—and weather—can change. For all tours at Calm The Farm, cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit are eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling.
    Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour are non-refundable, except in special circumstances at our discretion.
    In the event of unforeseen weather conditions or safety concerns, Calm The Farm may postpone or cancel tours. If this happens, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
    Thank you for supporting and understanding our policies here at Calm The Farm! No shows will not get a refund.
  • Companion Card Holders are welcome – if you hold a companion card, please state that at time of booking.
  • No group bookings each family must book there own visit

  • LUNCH – we do not sell food, you are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch, however you must never feed the animals anything unless it has been supplied by Calm The Farm. As it can make the animals extremely sick as they are on a strict diet that keeps them healthy and happy.

  • Allergy advice – Calm The Farm may contain allergens including wheat, egg, nuts , sesame, dust, feathers ect – Please let us know during the booking process if an allergy or a special circumstance is a concern, by doing so, this will assist our preparation to make your visit a safe and comfortable one.

  • DOGS and PETS – We are NOT pet friendly – Please don’t bring any pets or dogs along with you to the farm including the carpark area. 

  • PARKING – Upon arrival at the gate, you will be directed where you can park. Accessible parking is available, please let us know if you need accessible parking during the booking process.

  • FOOTWEAR – Thongs are NOT suitable footwear – enclosed shoes only. It can get muddy if it has been raining, please bring appropriate footwear (gum boots recommended)

  • NO TICKETS ARE SOLD AT THE GATE – YOU MUST BOOK ONLINE

  • Hand washing and sanitising is required upon both entry and exit of the garden area to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all.
  • Support Workers –  all support workers attending visits with NDIS participants must show proof of Working With Children Check and Criminal Background Check.

 We’re so glad you’re here to enjoy our animals and gardens! To keep everyone safe, please follow these rules:

Visitor Guidelines

  1. Supervise children at all times.
  2. Do not chase or scare the animals.
  3. Stay on designated paths and garden areas.
  4. No picking plants or vegetables unless invited.

 

Animal Interaction

  1. Touch animals gently only where indicated.
  2. Do not feed the animals unless food has been provided by Calm The Farm —they have special diets.
  3. Wash hands before and after touching animals.

 

Biosecurity & Safety

  1. Footwear: Please wear closed shoes.
  2. Hand washing or sanitising is a must on entrance and exit.
  3. Report any animal accidents or concerns to the farm supervisor.

 

Enjoy and Respect

  • Have fun exploring, getting creative in the gardens, enjoying lots of fun learning activities!
  • Help us keep the farm safe and healthy for everyone.
